Südtiroler Fraktale In der Mathematik bezeichnet man als Fraktale solche Objekte, die aus mehreren verkleinerten Kopien seiner selbst bestehen. Solche Strukturen findet man auch in der Natur, wie die hier gemalten Tannen am Fuße des Südtiroler Langkofel-massivs, die als symmetrische Pythagorasbäume gemalt sind. Auch die gemalten Beerenfelder bestehen aus Fraktalen (sog. Julia-Mengen).

Such structures are also found in nature shown by the fir trees at Langkofel mountain in South Tyrol which are painted as symmetrical Pythagoras trees. Also the patches of berries are shown as fractals (so called Julia fractals). |
