Wichtig ist, wie die Zellen miteinander kommunizieren – im Mobilfunk über Protokolle, im Lebendigen über biochemische Prozesse. Die Bilder sind vollständig aus regelmäßigen Sechsecken zusammengesetzt, die optimal die Fläche ausfüllen.

What is of interest is how cells communicate with each other: mobile base stations communicate via protocols while organisms use biochemical processes. The paintings are completely constructed by hexagons.
